The Chessmate Ultima Deluxe Pocket Chess Set is a highly portable chess set designed for travel and easy storage. It includes a pocket sleeve to hold the set for portability.
The set features 9/16" diameter disk-pieces that fit onto 7/16" diameter magnetic buttons. Once assembled, the pieces hold to the surface quite well, yet glide easily around the board during use. The 6" folding board has 11/16" squares and a clear, thin-laminate coating to help protect the chess board image for many years to come.
Some assembly is required to fit the chip pieces onto the adhesive side of the magnets for play, and both are provided with purchase. The piece kit includes 32 pieces, plus four extra pieces per side for promotion: Queen, Rook, Bishop and Knight. This passport set is proudly made in the USA.
