Meet the Fide Official World Championship Of Chess Series Pieces-3.75" King from Chess World—part of the official World Chess set, also known as the World Chess Championship Set.
Designed in 2012 by Daniel Weil of Pentagram for World Chess, the set was refined with input from Magnus Carlsen, Vladimir Kramnik, and other chess stars. The design was tested for comfortable handling with two fingers or with a grip, then premiered at the Candidates Tournament in London in 2013.
