The pieces use a traditional Staunton pattern, feature a 3.75" king with a 1.5" base diameter, and include a complete set of 34 pieces with two additional queens for pawn promotion. They are manufactured out of plastic and are virtually indestructible.
The vinyl tournament chessboard has 2.25" squares, rank and file labels on all four sides, and is made from high-grade vinyl that will resist dirt, tearing and spills. It also rolls up into a tight tube-shape for easy transport.
