The House of Staunton is proud to offer the Commemorative chess set for the 2019 Sinquefield Cup. This chess set is a replica of the set used by the players! The ending tour stop and another essential element of the Grand Chess Tour circuit, the Sinquefield Cup continues its traditional classical format. Sponsored annually by the Saint Louis Chess Club, the strongest tournament on American soil will be the final opportunity for competitors to earn points for the annual Grand Chess Tour. And at the end of the tournament, a new tour champion will be crowned.

The inspection report for this set details the following defects:

• These pieces have not been weighted and do not have sensors and are being sold as-is.
• The basepads on several Natural Boxwood Pawns have been appied askew (As seen in photographs).
• The Genuine Ebony Rook has a scrape on the base (As seen in photographs).
• The Genuine Ebony Pawn has a scratch / light crack on the base (As seen in photographs).
• There may be other minor imperfections not pictured.
