The King's Medium Chess Set is a handcrafted and hand-finished wood chess set made from the finest sycamore natural and stained wood. Proudly imported from Europe, it combines original design with the familiar look and feel of a traditional Staunton pattern chess set.
The King and Queen pieces feature crowns made from the opposing wood type for a striking color contrast. The complimentary chess board is designed to match the sycamore natural and stained pieces, has a rich lacquered finish, includes traditional rank and file labels on the perimeter, and folds in half for easy storage.
Inside the board are individual fitted compartments for storing each chess piece when not in use, helping protect the set.
