The House of Staunton Dubrovnik Series Chess Set brings together a full tournament-sized chess set, a matching gloss board, and a premium storage box in one combination.
The chessmen feature a 3.75" King with a 1.75" diameter base. Each set is hand carved by master artisans from the highest grade woods, heavily weighted, finished beautifully, and fitted with luxurious billiard cloth base pads. The set is new and includes 34 Chessmen, including four Queens.
The board is crafted in Spain and features Blackwood (dark) and Olivewood (light) squares with a Blackwood frame. This veneered chess board is 0.5" thick and has a gloss finish. The Premium Chess Box is lined in green billiard cloth, divided, and fitted with brass quadrant hinges plus a lock & key, with the House of Staunton logo laser engraved on the lid.
