The Burnt Zagreb '59 Series Chess Set, Box, & Board Combination combines a full tournament-sized chess set, a premium board, and a fitted chess box in one complete package.
The chessmen feature a 3.875" King with a 1.75" diameter base. They are hand carved from the highest grade boxwood, burnt and carved for a distinctive finish, then heavily weighted and fitted with luxurious billiard cloth base pads and a glossy finish.
The chessboard is the Ebony and Maple Superior Traditional Chessboard with 2.25" squares, ebony (dark) and maple (light) squares, a mahogany frame, 0.5" thickness, a moulded edge, and a satin finish. The Premium Chess Box is lined in green billiard cloth, divided, and includes brass quadrant hinges, a lock & key, and the House of Staunton logo laser engraved on the lid.
