The DGT Projects Electronic Chess Board is an electronic chess move input device designed for computer chess play with a Bluetooth connection to your PC.
It features a beautifully inlaid wood board with official FIDE Tournament size squares, measuring 2.25 in x 2.25 in or 5.5 x 5.5 cm. The board is .75 in or 1.8 cm thick, has internal memory for 500 moves, and uses modern sensor technology that identifies each piece by color and type for accurate, fast move recognition.
This board can broadcast games over the Internet, support tournament presentation, let the computer analyze games while you play a human opponent, and store games in memory for later retrieval as PGN. A driver CD is included, and it can be connected to the DGT XL or DGT 3000 Digital Chess Clock (sold separately). It works with many compatible programs, including ChessBase products, Pocket Grandmaster 2.0, Arena, Internet Chess Club, Chess Assistant, and ChessPad.
