The Leicester Series Chess Set, Box, & Board Combination brings together a handcrafted chess set, a wooden board, and a premium chess box in one coordinated package.
The chessmen feature a 4.0" King with a 1.875" diameter base. Each set includes 34 chessmen, including four Queens, and the pieces are hand carved by master artisans from the highest grade woods. They are heavily weighted and finished with luxurious billiard cloth base pads.
The board is crafted in Spain and features Indian Rosewood (dark) and Bird's Eye Maple (light) squares with a Mahogany frame. It is 0.5" thick and has a satin finish. The premium chess box is lined in green billiard cloth, divided, and fitted with brass quadrant hinges and a lock & key.
