2 DVD SET
Featuring Mark Stewart
The Chinese/Okinawan art of Pangai Noon Uechi Ryu originated from the close range fighting styles of the Tiger, Dragon and Crane in the legendary land of Fukien province, China. Like its Okinawan counterparts such as Goju, Shorin and Isshin Ryu, Pangai Noon Uechi Ryu is classically taught in the strict zen fashion of little explanation and much repetition.
Mark Stewart started his Uechi Ryu training at the age of thirteen under Sensei William Keith and is now one of the youngest 5th dans in the world of the Pangai Noon Uechi Ryu family under Sensei James Thompson.
In this two DVD series, Uechi Ryu Sensei Mark Stewart, sheds some light on the much talked about and little shown hidden motions of kata as well as the training drills that bring them to their fruition.
