The Lake Country HDO Blue Heavy Polishing Pad 5.5" x 1" is designed for long throw polishers and built with a dual-layer foam design for even polishing and controlled performance.
Blue pads are used for heavy defects, harder paint surfaces, and deep etching, and are best paired with medium to heavy cutting compounds. The dual-layer design reduces lateral and horizontal movement to help reduce molecular friction, heat, and foam fatigue.
HDO pads also block heat transfer between layers, use a center cooling chamber to dissipate heat, and combine the benefits of a thin pad with the advantages of a tapered profile and exact fit style pads. The tapered edge helps prevent pad rolling and supports good rotation on curved and contoured panels.
