Lake Country SDO Black Finishing Polishing Pad 3.5" x 7/8" comes in a 2-pack for final refinement, jeweling, and very light swirls on soft paint.
Standard Duty Orbital (SDO) pads are designed to deliver the same foams as the HDO line without the dual-layer construction. They are suitable for all random orbital DA polishers with a center ventilated backing plate. The center hole creates a tunnel to release and dissipate heat from the foam, reducing surface temperatures and helping lower the chance of paint damage.
Black foam pads are used with extra fine finishing polish to refine corrected surfaces to a flawless gloss and remove any trace of cutting haze from earlier correction stages. On very soft paints, they can also be used as a one-step process to remove very light swirls and finish in one pass. The tapered edge helps prevent pad rolling, supports rotation, and improves control on curved or contoured panels.
