These Standard Duty Orbital pads use the same great foams as the HDO line, but without the dual-layer construction. The center hole creates a tunnel to release and dissipate heat from the foam, helping reduce surface temperatures and lowering the chance of paint damage.
Orange foam is suited for fine scratches and general light swirls when used with a medium cut compound or polish. It can also work as a cutting pad on softer paints or when defects are not too severe; on harder paint surfaces, it can be the right choice for finishing to a brilliant gloss.
