The SDO Orange Polishing Pad 6.5" x 7/8" is designed for random orbital DA polishers with a center ventilated backing plate.
This orange foam pad is used for fine scratches and general light swirls with medium cut compound or polish. It can also serve as a cutting pad on softer paints or when defects are not too severe to begin with. On harder paint surfaces, the orange foam is a strong choice for finishing to a brilliant gloss.
Built with a tapered edge to help prevent pad rolling and improve rotation, it performs well on curved and contoured panels and in tight areas. The center ventilated cooling chamber helps dissipate heat from the foam, lowering surface temperatures and supporting durability.
The SDO system pairs perfectly with low lint wool heavy cutting pads made of knitted prewashed lambswool. Fits backing plate: 6".
