A molded check ball helps seal against reverse water flow when backing the boat. The removable top makes cleaning easier, and the optional leaf guard model uses raised ribs on the head to help prevent debris such as leaves and scales from clogging the holes.
Installation details: the overall diameter of the mounting flange is 3 9/16", it requires a 2 1/2" diameter hole, and it mounts with four (4) number 8 screws (not furnished). All outlets fit 1 1/2 inch drain hoses.
