It features a simple hand crank for infinite height adjustment from regulation 10' down to 6'6". An easy-to-crank handle on the backside telescopes the backboard and rim to the desired playing height. One person can move the unit, and the release crank unlocks the brake while six roller wheels contact the playing surface for smooth portability. The extension arm can quickly drop down so the unit can pass under any standard height double doors.
At 10' rim height, the distance from the backboard to the base is 4', helping keep the base "off the court" for player safety. Heavy foam padding covers the entire front of the unit for additional safety, and padding is available in gold, orange, scarlet, maroon, kelly-green, and forest-green. The unit is durable and stable enough to withstand slam dunk action and will not tip over when players hang on the rim. Floor load on the wheels is 275 psi rolling and 210 psi stationary. Backboards ranging from 36"x54" to 42"x72" are available, and every Thunder package includes a Lifetime Superior Warranty.
