This Basic Chess Set Combination from The House Of Staunton includes triple weighted regulation plastic chess pieces, a vinyl tournament chessboard, and a basic chess bag.
The pieces feature a traditional Staunton pattern, a 3.75" king with a 1.5" base diameter, and a complete set of 34 pieces, including two additional queens for pawn promotion. The set is manufactured out of plastic and is meant to withstand the toughest abuse.
The vinyl tournament chessboard has 2.25" squares and rank and file labels on all four sides, making it ideal for beginners. It is made from high-grade vinyl and will resist dirt, tearing, and spills. The basic chess bag measures 8.5" x 6.5" and uses an easy-to-open/close zipper to secure the pieces during transport.
