The Basic Chess Set Combination from The House Of Staunton includes single weighted regulation plastic chess pieces, a thin mousepad-style tournament board, and a basic chess bag.
The pieces use a traditional Staunton pattern, feature a 3.75" king with a 1.5" base diameter, and include a complete set of 34 pieces with two additional queens for pawn promotion. They are manufactured out of plastic and are meant to withstand the toughest abuse.
The thin mousepad style tournament chessboard has 2.25" squares, rank and file labels on all four sides, a light weight non-slip rubberized underside, and it is guaranteed to lie flat, will not crease, and is completely washable. The basic chess bag measures 8.5" x 6.5" and is made of durable vinyl with easy, large open/close zippers.
