This DVD expands on the Black opening repertoire recommended by Grandmaster Roman Dzindzichashvili. He spends one hour on the topic of The Dragons Accelerated Return and another hour on The Dragons Accelerated Battle Over the Maroczy Bind.
In the first section, The Dragons Accelerated Return, Roman discusses how the Accelerated Dragon not only takes its own place within that repertoire, but may also be reached when White declines the Dzindzi Indian Defense by playing an early e2-e4.
In the Dragon's Accelerated Battle Over the Maroczy Bind segment Roman provides more analysis and recommendations for Black in the Accelerated Dragon, concentrating on Black's options after White establishes the Maroczy Bind with c2-c4.
