Each piece is hand carved by master artisans from the highest grade woods, then heavily weighted and finished with luxurious billiard cloth base pads. The set uses ebonized / boxwood construction and has been used at major chess championship matches for the past ten years.
This is an imperfect item. The inspection report notes chips on the side of the two Ebonized Boxwood Knights and dents on the base of the two Ebonized Boxwood Pawns, with possible additional minor imperfections not pictured. All sales are final.
