The House of Staunton Zagreb '59 Series Chess set is a full tournament-sized set of wood chess pieces with a 3.875" King and a 1.75" diameter base. The pieces are hand carved by master artisans, crafted from the highest grade woods, heavily weighted, and finished with luxurious billiard cloth base pads.
This imperfect set has been marked below The House of Staunton's already high quality standards. The inspection report notes that several pieces have been replaced and do not match the whole set. Some replacement pieces may be Ebonized Boxwood instead of Genuine Ebony.
Additional reported defects include one Natural Boxwood Bishop with a crooked finial, and the other Natural Boxwood Bishop plus both Natural Boxwood Queens with Blood Rosewood finials instead of Ebony. There may be other minor imperfections not pictured. Because this is an imperfect item, all sales are final with no refunds, returns, or exchanges.
