Korchnoi Year By Year is the second volume of Elk and Ruby’s study of Viktor Korchnoi, written by FM Hans Renette and IM Tibor Karolyi. It covers the period 1969-1980, including Korchnoi’s 1978 world championship fight with Karpov in Baguio City, his candidates final matches against Karpov in 1974 and Hubner in 1980, and the related candidates cycles and major tournament performances.
