The 2025 Saint Louis Rapid & Blitz Player's Edition Chess Pieces are a limited edition set from The House Of Staunton, created for the Saint Louis Rapid & Blitz tournament and the Grand Chess Tour.
Each chess set includes 34 chessmen, including four Queens, an original manufacturer's plaque indicating the production number with adhesive backing, and a Certificate of Authenticity signed by all ten participants. The set also comes packed in a House of Staunton Premium Chess Box with the Rapid & Blitz name and logo laser engraved on the lid.
This year's event runs from August 9th through August 17th and features nine rounds of rapid action followed by eighteen rounds of blitz, for a total of 135 games. The tournament includes Gukesh Dommaraju, Fabiano Caruana, Nodirbek Abdusattorov, Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu, Alireza Firouzja, Wesley So, Levon Aronian, Jan-Krzysztof Duda, Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, and Sam Sevian.
