The Avellino Series Artisan Chess Pieces are a full club-sized chess set from The House of Staunton, designed for practical play with an elegant artisan finish.
This set features a 4.4" King with a 1.8" diameter base. Each chess piece is hand carved by master artisans, crafted out of the highest grade woods, and heavily weighted with a beautiful finish.
The set is new and includes 34 chessmen, with four Queens as introduced by The House of Staunton in 1993. It also comes with an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity and an original manufacturer's plaque with adhesive backing for affixing to the underside of a chess box.
