The Aversa Series Luxury Chess Pieces from The House Of Staunton is a full tournament-sized chess set designed for practical play and display. It features a 4.0" King with a 1.875" diameter base.
Each chess piece is hand carved by master artisans and crafted from the highest grade woods. The set is heavily weighted and finished with luxurious billiard cloth base pads and a beautiful finish for a refined look and feel.
Every set includes 34 Chessmen, including four Queens, a standard introduced by The House Of Staunton in 1993. It also comes with an Individually Numbered Certificate of Authenticity and an original manufacturer's plaque with adhesive backing for placement on the underside of a chess box.
