The B & Co. Series Luxury Chess Pieces by The House of Staunton are a full club-sized chess set with a 4.4" King and a 1.875" diameter base.
Each piece is hand carved by master artisans from the highest grade woods and is heavily weighted with a beautiful finish. The Kings feature English Leather embossed with the House of Staunton logo, while all other pieces feature luxurious green baize.
This new set includes 34 Chessmen, including four Queens, plus an Individually Numbered Certificate of Authenticity and an original manufacturer's plaque with adhesive backing for placement on the underside of a chess box. The B & Co. design is an exact reproduction of the famous 1870s chessmen, made from Boxwood and luxurious East Indian Ebony (Diospyros ebenum).
