The Bolzano Series Artisan Chess Pieces are a full club-sized chess set from The House of Staunton, featuring a 4.3" King with a 1.85" diameter base.
Each chess piece is hand carved by master artisans and crafted out of the highest grade woods. The pieces are heavily weighted with a beautiful finish. The Kings feature English Leather Embossed with House of Staunton™ Logo, and all other pieces feature Luxurious Green Baize.
This new set consists of 34 Chessmen, including four Queens, a standard introduced by The House of Staunton in 1993. It also includes an Individually Numbered Certificate of Authenticity and an original manufacturer's plaque with adhesive backing for placement on the underside of a chess box.
