The Bristol Series Timeless Chess Pieces are a hand-carved chessmen set from The House of Staunton, featuring a 4.5" King with a 1.85" diameter base and very heavy weighting.
Crafted from the highest grade woods, these chess pieces include luxurious billiard cloth base pads, a beautiful finish, and a striking new Knight design. The set draws inspiration from Pre-Staunton Pattern Chessmen of the 1820s while remaining as functional as any Staunton Pattern set.
Each set includes 34 Chessmen, including four Queens, plus an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity and an original brass manufacturer's plaque with engraved production details and adhesive backing for the underside of a chess box.
