The Camaratta Signature Championship Chess Table - Dark Brown is a transitional chess table designed by Frank Camaratta for utility, flexibility, quality, and stability. It is made to suit everything from a casual game of chess to serious tournament competition.
The table is crafted from Mahogany and stands 30.5" tall with a playing surface measuring 38" long with 32" between the players. It includes padded, cleanable Dark Brown leather arm rests, two drawers on each side of the playing field that are 12.5" long and 2" deep, and a reversible chessboard setup. The standard two-sided chessboard includes 2.5" and 2.25" squares and accommodates Tournament sized Staunton chess sets with King heights between 3.5" and 4.4". An optional two-sided chessboard with 2.0" and 2.375" squares is also available for Staunton chess sets with King heights between 2.875" and 4.0".
The playing surface is designed to accept all double-sided chessboards offered by The House of Staunton. White squares are Maple, dark squares are Macassar Ebony, and the House of Staunton and Camaratta Signature logos are stamped inside the drawer.
