The Dubrovnik Chess Set, Box, & Board Combination pairs the Dubrovnik Series Chessmen with a matching wooden board and premium storage box for a complete playing set.
The new set includes 34 Chessmen, including four Queens. Each piece is hand carved by master artisans from the highest grade woods, heavily weighted, finished beautifully, and fitted with luxurious billiard cloth base pads. The King measures 3.75" with a 1.75" diameter base.
The board is the House of Staunton Standard Traditional Rosewood / Bird's Eye Maple wooden Chessboard with 2.25" squares. Crafted in Spain, it features Rosewood (dark) and Bird's Eye Maple (light) squares, a Mahogany frame, a veneered 0.5" thickness, a satin finish, and a 22.5" x 22.5" footprint. The Premium Chess Box holds chessmen up to a 4.4” king height with additional queens and includes brass quadrant hinges, green billiard cloth lining, and a lock and key with tassel.
