Hand carved by master artisans and crafted from the highest grade woods, these chessmen are heavily weighted and finished with luxurious billiard cloth base pads. The set includes 34 chessmen, including four Queens, a standard introduced by The House of Staunton in 1993.
Inspired by the exact reproduction of the 1970s-era Dubrovnik Chess set used in the 19th Chess Olympiad in Siegen, West Germany, this design is built with sturdier bases and reinforced collars on all pieces for long-term use.
