The Expert Series Chess Pieces are a traditional wooden chess set made for beginners, casual play, travel, and analysis play. These pieces are crafted from Golden Rosewood and Natural Boxwood and are easy to carry and transport.
Each full set includes 34 wood chess pieces, with extra Queens for pawn promotion. The design is traditional and the pieces are solid wood.
Available options include a 3" King with a base diameter of 1.13" and a single median set weight of 7.2 ounces or a triple median set weight of 12 ounces. A 3.5" King option is also available with a base diameter of 1.38" and a single median set weight of 11.6 ounces or a triple median set weight of 23 ounces.
