The Fischer Series Plastic Chess Pieces - 3.75" King are Fischer Triple-Weighted Plastic Chessmen by The House Of Staunton, made from the highest quality plastic for years of enjoyment.
This heavily weighted set is crafted to replicate the original Staunton pattern Chessmen, registered by Nathaniel Cooke in March of 1849 and first manufactured by Jaques of London in September 1849. The distinctive Knight design is modeled after the noble steeds from the Greek Parthenon (Elgin Marbles).
Available color options include Blue & Natural, Black & White, Blue & White, and Black & Natural. These Chessmen are highly recommended for all US Chess Federation tournament play.
