The Fischer Spassky Series Chess Pieces are an exact reproduction of one of the most historically important chess sets ever produced, modeled after the set used in the 1972 World Chess Championship.
This full tournament-sized set features a 4.4" King with a 1.75" diameter base. Each piece is hand carved by master artisans, crafted from the highest grade woods, heavily weighted, finished with luxurious billiard cloth base pads, and given a glossy finish to better highlight the details. The design also includes reinforced Pawn collars and oversized Rook ramparts for added durability during practical play.
