The Imperial Collector Series Luxury Chess Pieces from The House Of Staunton feature a 4.4" King with a 2.0" diameter base. These full-tournament sized chessmen are hand carved by master artisans and crafted from the highest grade woods.
Built with the patented weighting technique (U.S. Patent No. 11,000,757), the pieces include gold embossed English Leather base pads under all chess pieces. The design follows the original Staunton pattern chessmen, with the distinctive open-mitered Bishop and original Knight design sculpted by the Maestro, Frank A. Camaratta, Jr.
Each set includes an Individually Numbered Certificate of Authenticity and an original manufacturer's plaque indicating the production number, with an adhesive backing for placement on the underside of a chess box.
