This is the second volume of a two-volume work on the games of Tigran Petrosian, published by Ishi Press.
Petrosian was World Chess Champion from 1963 to 1969, and this volume continues the record of his games and career. He became the first player in the modern era to win a match defending the world chess title, defeating Boris Spassky in 1966 after winning the championship against Mikhail Botvinnik in 1963.
The book also reflects the effort to preserve the games Petrosian was collecting before his death in Moscow on 13 August 1984 at the age of 55. His widow Rona E. Petrosian, working with Eduard Shekhtman, compiled the material published here.
