The Golden Collector Series Luxury Wood Chess Set, Box, & Board Combination is a club-sized set for players who value craftsmanship, storage, and a refined presentation. It includes the chessmen, a handcrafted board, and a fitted coffer box.
The chessmen feature a 4.4" King with a 2.0" diameter base and are crafted from the highest grade Antiqued Boxwood and Genuine Ebony. Each piece is hand carved and hand turned by master artisans to exacting standards.
The handcrafted chessboard is made in the United States and uses Red Amboyna Burl (dark) and Bird's Eye Maple (light) squares with Spalted Maple inlays and a stylized Genuine Ebony frame. The Italian-made fitted coffer includes brass quadrant hinges, two removable trays, a lock and key with tassel, and red velour felt cloth on the interior. It holds up to 4.4" King Height, including the additional Queens, and measures 16.5" x 11" x 7.25".
