The Harrwitz Series Timeless Chess Pieces- 3.5" King is an exact reproduction of the Circa 1853 Jaques of London Harrwitz Pattern Chessmen. Part of the Timeless Collection, this set is designed for players who value historic style, practical play, and strong board presence.
Each chessman is hand carved by master artisans from the highest grade woods, then heavily weighted and finished with luxurious billiard cloth base pads. The King stands 3.5" tall with a 1.65" diameter base. The set is new and includes 34 chessmen, including four Queens, a standard introduced by The House of Staunton in 1993.
