The Zukertort Series Luxury Chess Pieces are an exact reproduction of the Circa 1860 Zukertort Pattern Chessmen, designed for players and collectors who value authentic detail and classic board presence.
Each set features a 2.875" King with a 1.35" Diameter base and a very heavily weighted build. The chessmen are hand carved by master artisans, crafted out of the highest grade woods, finished beautifully, and fitted with luxurious billiard cloth base pads.
This new set consists of 34 Chessmen, including four Queens, a standard introduced by The House of Staunton in 1993. The design balances practical play with refined craftsmanship, staying true to one of the most sought after Patterns from Jaques of London.
