The Milan Series Luxury Chess Pieces from The House Of Staunton feature a 4.4" King with a 1.85" diameter base and a very heavily weighted design.
Each chessman is hand carved by master artisans and crafted from the highest grade woods. The set includes House of Staunton English Leather basepads on the King and luxurious billiard cloth base pads on the other pieces, with a beautiful finish.
This new set consists of 34 Chessmen, including four Queens, a standard introduced by The House of Staunton in 1993. It also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and an original manufacturer's plaque with adhesive backing for the underside of a chess box.
