The velvet-lined drawer stores the included ChessLink and ChessVolt, along with all cables and the pieces. With the ChessLink module and the free ChessLink app, you can play online on Lichess directly on the board, and software such as HIARCS and the Chess for Android app adds more options.
Powered by ChessVolt for many hours of play, the system uses an illuminated on-off switch and external charging socket. Thanks to its modular design, the core board and pieces can remain while the system is expanded later, for example with The King Element. The board and pedestal are not fixed together, so the board can also be removed and taken along.
