The New B & Co. Series Luxury Chess Pieces are a full club-sized chess set with a 4.4" King and a 1.875" diameter base.
Each set includes 34 Chessmen, including four Queens, and the pieces are hand carved by master artisans from the highest grade woods. The chessmen are heavily weighted with a beautiful finish. The Kings feature English Leather embossed with the House of Staunton logo, while all other pieces feature luxurious green baize.
Designed for practical play and made as an exact reproduction of the famous B&Co chessmen from the 1870s, this set combines distinct beauty and functionality. The chessmen are Boxwood and luxurious East Indian Ebony (Diospyros ebenum), and the club-size King stands a full 4-1/4” tall with a broad 2-0” diameter base.
