Each chess piece is hand carved by master artisans and crafted out of the finest woods. The set is heavily weighted and finished with luxurious billiard cloth base pads and a beautiful finish for a refined look and practical play.
Each new set consists of 34 chessmen, including four Queens, a standard introduced by The House of Staunton in 1993. It also includes an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity and an original manufacturer's plaque with engraved production details and adhesive backing for attachment to a chess box.
