The Players Series Chess Pieces are a full tournament-sized chess set from The House of Staunton, designed to replicate the turn-of-the-century Staunton Pattern Chess sets.
This set features a 3.75" King with a 1.4" diameter base. The chess pieces are hand carved by master artisans, crafted out of the highest grade woods, heavily weighted, and finished with luxurious billiard cloth base pads and a rich finish. The design is inspired by the Jaques of London style from the late 1890s.
