The Ravenna Series Luxury Chess Pieces from The House of Staunton are a full club-sized chess set with a 4.4" King and a 1.875" diameter base.
Each chess piece is hand carved by master artisans and crafted from the highest grade woods. The set is heavily weighted and finished for a refined presentation. The Kings feature English Leather embossed with the House of Staunton logo, while all other pieces feature luxurious green baize.
Designed for practical play as well as elegant display, this set includes 34 Chessmen, including four Queens, a standard introduced by The House of Staunton in 1993. It also comes with an Individually Numbered Certificate of Authenticity and an original manufacturer’s plaque with adhesive backing for placement on the underside of a chess box.
