The W.T. Pinney Series Chess Pieces from The Camaratta Collection is a club sized reproduction chess set by The House Of Staunton, designed around a 4.75" King with a 1.925" diameter base.
Its most distinctive feature is the unique Knight. Somewhat slab-sided and simple, the Knights have an allure all of their own, and have been a recognizable part of W. T. Pinney chessmen from the 1930s through the late 1950s.
Each chess piece is hand carved by master artisans from the highest grade woods, then heavily weighted and finished with luxurious billiard cloth base pads on all of the chess pieces.
