This 9 DVD Set presents Vee-Arnis Jitsu instruction from Professor David James, who has over 25 years of martial arts training and studied under Shihan Lou Ferrer, Professor Rico Guy, and Professor Florendo Visitacion.
The lessons cover the 7th set dimensions butting with the 7th set of 12 strike, the 8th set dimensions slide with the 8th set of 12 strike, and the 9th set dimensions redirecting with the 15 angles of attack. The Vee-Arnis Jitsu system combines the stick defenses and techniques of Filipino Arnis with the grappling methods of Japanese Jiu-jitsu, along with elements of Muay Thai, Kenpo Karate, and various styles of Chinese Kung Fu.
Technique focus includes joint locks, manipulations, breaks, throws, and ground control techniques. In 1993, David James was voted "Instructor of the Year" and inducted into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
