Eisuke Akamine Ryu Kyu Kobudo DVD from Rising Sun presents rare archival material focused on traditional Okinawan kobudo.
Shot in the 1960's by Mr. Taiju Lee, this 25-minute DVD shows Akamine Sensei performing many of the katas he learned directly from Taira Sensei. Eisuke Akamine was a direct student of Taira Shinken and also his senior student, and he served as the second President of "Ryu Kyu Kobudo Hozon Shinkokai" until his passing.
The program also includes a short interview with Mr. Lee about his training with Akamine Sensei, followed by a demonstration of the forms he learned from Master Akamine.
