Yamazaki sensei is an eight-degree black belt from Ryobukai (Japan Karate Federation) and a ninth-degree Shindo Jinen Ryu instructor. He teaches kata and sparring techniques from beginning through black-belt ranks, drawing on a lineage connected to Yasuhiro Konishi and Okinawan masters Funakoshi (shotokan), Mabuni (shito-ryu), Miyagi (goju-ryu), and Choki Motobu.
