This Kajukenbo DVD features Adriano Emperado, one of the legends in the martial arts and the founder of Kajukenbo, the hybrid martial art from Hawaii.
Kajukenbo takes its name from the arts it combines: KA for Karate, JU for Judo and Jujitsu, KEN for Kenpo, and BO for Boxing. This recording was made in the later part of Emperado’s life and, with assistance from his students Gary Forbach and Angel Garcia, provides an excellent display of the essence of Kajukenbo.
